Baldwin City Liquor Sales Special Election

Notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of the City of Baldwin City, Kansas pursuit to K.S.H. 41-712b that an election has been called and will be held on December 22, 2005 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of City of Baldwin City the following proposition: PROPOSITION I Shall the following be adopted: "Within the city of Baldwin City shall sale at retail of cereal malt beverage in the original package be prohibited on Sunday and shall the sale at retail of alcoholic liquor in the original package be prohibited on Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day1/2" Residents of Douglas County, residing in Baldwin City, Douglas County, Kansas, will vote at the following polling places: Northwest Baldwin, Baldwin City Fire Dept, 610 High St, Baldwin City Northeast Baldwin, Baldwin Elementary School, 700 Chapel St, Baldwin City South Baldwin, American Legion, 807 High St, Baldwin City Notice is further given that the polls will open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.
