The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Douglas County is represented by the Heartland Division of the American Cancer Society. The local Relay for Life will be taking place: <b>Where:</b> Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS <b>When:</b> June 7-8, 2002 (Overnight: 7:00pm - 7:00am) The public is welcome to come cheer on the Relay for Life teams at Haskell Indian Nations University.
