Weather 101 Class Offered in Lawrence

Douglas County Emergency Management is sponsoring the National Weather Service session of Weather 101 on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 7:00PM at the Lawrence Arts Center. This class is FREE and open to the public. The training will begin with basic topics concerning severe thunderstorm development and severe weather safety followed by a few more advanced topics. All-hazard radios with on-site programming will be available at cost with refreshments provided by Paul Davis Restoration.
