COURT ANNOUNCES CLOSURE DATES

All offices of the Douglas County District Court will be closed April 9, 16 and 23 plus May 7 in compliance with Kansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 241. The courts will be closed because of staff furloughs dictated by financial considerations. Judges will available to address time-critical issues, including certain criminal hearings, new child in need of care petitions and other matters as spelled out in the order, available at http://www.kscourts.org/Kansas-Courts/Supreme-Court/Administrative-Orders/Admin-order-241.pdf.
