Update on Douglas County overlay project between Lawrence and Baldwin City

As of Friday October 8, 2010, all resurfacing work has been completed on Route 1055 between E 1700 Road (Vinland) and N 1000 Road (Route 458), on Route 458 between E 1500 Road and E 1600 Road, and on Route 460 between E 1700 Road (Route 1055) and E 1900 Road (Route 1057). These roads are open to unrestricted traffic. Drivers need to be cautious driving on these roads with only temporary pavement markings in place. Permanent pavement marking will be installed in the next few weeks.
