County Offices to Close at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 Due to Winter Weather; Will Re-Open at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011

Due the approaching snow blizzard, selected county offices and services will close down at 11:00 a.m. this morning, and will reopen at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning: The courthouse, including the offices of the County Treasurer, County Clerk, Register of Deeds, County Appraiser, County Administrator, and the Administrative Services Department will be closed from 11:00 a.m. today (Tuesday, February 1, 2011) until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, February 2, 2011). The Judicial and Law Enforcement Center will be open with limited services 1) The following offices within the JLE building are closed all day today (Tuesday) and will remain closed until at least 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning: District Attorney, and all the District Court Offices. 2) Sheriff's services are available through emergency communications (785-843-0250 for non-emergency services and 911 for emergency services) 3) The IT department , and Building Maintenance Offices will close at 11:00 a.m. this morning and reopen at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. All satellite offices, and the Public Works Administrative Offices will close at 11:00 a.m. this morning and reopen at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. The County Jail, Juvenile Detention Center, and Public Works Operations Department will all remain open.
