SWAW Day 4: Thunderstorms

Did you know1/2 At any given moment, nearly 1,800 thunderstorms are in progress over the surface of the earth. Welcome to Day 4 of Severe Weather Awareness Week. Today's preparedness topic is Thunderstorm Safety. Are you interested in learning more about severe thunderstorms and severe weather safety1/2 Join us tonight at 7PM at South Jr. High School for Weather 101. Weather 101 will begin by providing information about severe storm development and identification of important features followed by important safety and preparedness tips. This class is free and open to everyone. Light refreshments will be provided by Paul Davis Restoration and NOAA WX Radios will be sold ($30) and can be programmed for free.
