KDOT to close portion of Route 460 east of US-59 for pavement overlay

KDOT plans to close a portion of Route 460 (N 650 Road) just east of US-59 highway from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2011. Route 460 from US-59 east approximately 1/2-mile will be closed to all traffic on that day. Westbound traffic on Route 460 will not be able to access US-59 highway, and US-59 traffic will not be able to turn onto Route 460 eastbound. The closure is required to allow KDOT's contractor, Ames Construction, to place an asphalt overlay on this portion of Route 460. The work is part of the contract for the US-59 freeway construction project.
