New Noxious Weeds Information Has Been Added to County Site

A new section for Noxious Weeds has been added to the Douglas County, Kansas website. Information includes: a photo gallery of common noxious weeds in the county (with links to the Kansas Dept. of Agriculture for more information); Chemical Sales & Equipment Information; and Sensitive Crops Registration and Locations (including maps). The Douglas County Noxious Weed Department is responsible for enforcing the Kansas Noxious Weed Law. Noxious Weed chemical can be purchased at 711 E 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas and are currently cost shared at a 25% discount. A limited number of rental pull-behind sprayers are available for landowners to assist in the control of Noxious Weeds. This department is directly responsible for the control of Noxious Weeds on all County owned and maintained right of way. To view this new section, please visit the links below.
