KDOT to open Route 458 east of US-59 highway

On Tuesday, July 5, around 12:00 noon, KDOT will reopen Route 458 (N 1000 Road) to all traffic between US-59 highway and E 1400 Road. KDOT and Douglas County closed this section of Route 458 on May 16. The closure was to allow KDOT to reconstruct Route 458 as part of the new US-59 interchange, and to allow Douglas County to repair and resurface the concrete deck of the bridge located approximately 0.3 miles east of US-59 highway.
