Douglas County to reopen 31st Street between Louisiana St. and Haskell Street

Construction on 31st Street between Louisiana Street and Haskell Street will be completed and the road reopened by 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 28. The one-mile section of roadway was closed beginning July 18 for pavement rehabilitation work. The project entailed milling portions of the existing asphalt surface 2" deep, full-depth patching of deteriorated areas, and placing 2" of new asphalt pavement surfacing.
