Douglas County is offering a new Online Employment Application for individuals who would like to apply for one or more positions at Douglas County. This Online Employment Application allows each user to store their employment application indefinitely with the Personnel Div., as long as they keep applying for new positions. The Online Employment Application offers a 5 Step process to apply for positions online. They are: STEP 1 - Contact & Position Information This page asks for your personal Contact & Position Information, such as name, phone number, address, etc. STEP 2 - Status Questionnaire This page will ask you several basic yes or no questions concerning your personal and work status. STEP 3 - Employment Experience This page asks for your employment experience, including previous employers, dates employed, etc. STEP 4 - Educational Experience This page asks for your educational experience, including the name and location of schools, year(s) graduated, etc. STEP 5 - References & Resume Attachment This page asks for a list of three References, a Resume Attachment, and it will allow you to submit a resume in either Word or PDF format. Preview & Submittal Once you are done submitting your information on the Online Employment Application, you'll be redirected to the "Preview & Submittal" page. This page will allow you to review and edit the information you submitted for the application, and submit the application to the Douglas County Personnel Div. with one or more open positions. Once the Online Employment Application has been filled out completely, applicants will not need to bring a paper version into the Personnel Div. office. They would simply need to login into their home page, and apply for any new "Current Openings".
