Real Estate to be Sold at Auction

On Tuesday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m. Douglas County will sell to the highest bidder real estate eligible for foreclosure due to non-payment of taxes. Real estate will be sold free and clear of all 2011 and prior year's taxes and special assessments. Successful bidders must pay the full amount due in cash or cashier check within two hours of the end of sale. The auction will be held in the Jury Assembly Room in the basement of the Judicial and Law Enforcement Building, 111 E. 11th, Lawrence, Kansas. Interested bidders should arrive approximately thirty minutes early to register and obtain a bid number.
