Jury News: 7th Judicial District Implementing New Jury Management System

The Kansas 7th Judicial District, comprised only of Douglas County, will implement a new jury management software system on March 19, 2012. The court is replacing its current software with the Full Court jury management system. The new software integrates with the court's case management software, which has been in use since October 2004. Jury summonses will be issued from Full Court beginning the week of March 19. Although the court has taken steps to exclude individuals who have served as jurors in the last two years or who have received permanent excusals, some of these individuals may receive a summons. If this occurs, they should notify Karen Clark, jury coordinator, at 785-832-5228 or via e-mail at kclark@douglas-county.com.
