Lawrence Resident Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Two Counts of Endangering a Child

Douglas County District Attorney Charles Branson announces Lawrence resident Rebecca Wynne, 25, was charged today with Involuntary Manslaughter and two counts of Endangering a Child. The victims are all children of the Defendant. An autopsy report revealed the five year old child died from ingesting opiates during the evening hours of April 27, 2012. The surviving children, ages six and four are in protective custody. The charges listed are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
