DA Employee Receives Statewide Recognition for Her Dedication to Victims of Crime

04/03/2013
Longtime Douglas County District Attorney's Office employee Dolores Moseley was honored today at the 16th Annual Crime Victims' Rights Conference as the state's Outstanding Victim Advocate. The award was presented this morning by Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt. Dolores was nominated for the award earlier this year by the GaDuGi SafeCenter. In the words of Sarah Jane Russell, Executive Director of GaDuGi SafeCenter, "She (Dolores) would never want anyone to feel like she was not there for them. Dolores has always given everyone 110% and that's what makes her outstanding. She is there to listen to them and provide them with the best services that she can." DA Branson is very happy that Dolores' hard work and dedication to the citizens of Lawrence and Douglas County have been recognized. She earned this honor through her years of public service and dedication to those who may have otherwise been forgotten or overlooked.
