February 1st Update for Gonzales McLinn Homicide Case

Sarah B. Gonzales McLinn was transferred into the custody of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office early this morning and is now being held at the Douglas County Jail.  She will have a first appearance on the first degree murder charge on Monday, February 3 at 1:30 p.m. in Division Five courtroom before the Honorable Paula B. Martin.

According to local court rules, any requests for media in the courtroom for the hearing should be directed to the Douglas County District Court.

 No additional information will be released until after Ms. Gonzales McLinn’s first appearance. 

 Any charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
