Jury Trial on Tuesday, January 22nd - Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, Grand Jury jurors

The service period of January 21st through February 1st will begin on Monday. However, the district court will be closed on Monday in observation of the holiday. Jurors in Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, and all Grand Jury jurors will need to report to the Judicial and Law Enforcement Center on Tuesday, January 22nd, by 8:30 AM for a jury trial. The Judicial and Law Enforcement Center is located in Lawrence at 111 E 11th st, just off of 11th and Massachusetts. Jurors in Group 2, Group 3, and Group 4 will go to the Division 2 courtroom, located through the glass doors past the metal detectors at the main entrance of the building. Grand Jury jurors will go to the Division 3 courtroom, located in the basement level of the building. Jurors who fail to report may be cited for contempt of court. All jurors except for Grand Jury jurors will need to call the Jury Service Line at 785.832.5108 on Tuesday, January 22nd after 5:30 pm, to learn if you will be needed for a jury trial on Wednesday, January 23rd.
